There are so many great reasons on why strength training is essential no matter your age. Here are four great reasons to do strength training if you have Arthritis.
  1. Strength training reduces pain: One study found that men with arthritis in their knees had a 23%  reduction in pain intensity after implementing a 3 day a week strength training regimen for 8 weeks.
  2. Strength training increases range of motion: Another study found that participants who did strength training three times a week had the same flexibility improvements as those who did a regular stretching routine.
  3. “It blasts calories - even when you’re not working out” The amount of calories you burn increases about 7% after weeks of strength training.
  4. Strength Training boosts bone density: Strength Training can help slow down the loss of bone tissue and increase bone density.
